Bus companies operating in Surrey offer single and return journey tickets, including one and seven day tickets, one and three month tickets and yearly tickets. Some bus companies offer group and family tickets. Tickets may be able to be used on services from more than one operator. London Buses offer a single ticket only.

Passes
- Free bus passes for older people – allowing free travel on buses for eligible Surrey residents
- Free bus passes for disabled people – allowing free travel on buses for eligible Surrey residents
- Surrey LINK bus card - allows young people, aged 20 and under, to travel for half price on single and return tickets for any journey that starts and/or finishes in Surrey.
- The Homes for Ukraine -Temporary bus pass - allowing free temporary bus travel for Ukrainians on the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
Bus operator offers for pre-9.30am travel for free bus pass holders
- Falcon - Disabled Pass Holders only can travel at child fare rate before 9.30am
- Safeguard - £1.70 single fare is offered before 9.30am
- Stagecoach - half price travel for a single journey that starts in Surrey before 9.30am
- White Bus - child fare is offered before 9.30am on all services
£3 bus fare cap
From 1 January 2023 to December 2024 a single bus journey costs £2 on many bus routes across England.
From 1 January 2025 to December 2025, the fare cap will increase to £3. This is to continue to help people with cost of living pressures and save on everyday travel costs

- Winkworth Arboretum, Godalming (National Trust) - £1 off at the café with a valid bus ticket* (served by service 42)
- Claremont Landscape Gardens, Esher (National Trust) - £1 off at the café with a valid bus ticket* (served by service 715)
- RHS Gardens, Wisley - Discounted admission with a valid bus ticket* (served by Stagecoach service RHS)
- Hatchlands Park, Guildford (National Trust) - A free tea or coffee with a valid bus ticket* (served by service 478 and 479) One free cup of tea or coffee per person, valid bus ticket must be shown at the café.
- Waverley Abbey, Farnham - Free entry to all visitors (served by service 46)

London buses are cashless
