Paying for your care and support – What changes when you turn 18
When you tell us what support you need, we'll figure out the cost and whether you need to pay for some of it through your own money or benefits.
We'll also determine what we can help fund from Adult Social Care. To do this, we'll ask you for some information about your income and expenses, which is called a Financial Assessment.
Based on this assessment, we'll determine whether you need to pay towards your care.
