Staying safe - Preparing for adulthood

Helping you to stay safe when you're transitioning to adulthood

Everyone deserves to feel safe, whether at home, school, work, or with friends.

Sometimes, people can experience abuse or neglect like being hit, bullied, stolen from, made fun of or not supported when you need it.

If you feel you are being abused or neglected, this is called a Safeguarding concern. Social Services can help you by:

  • Finding someone to help you tell your story.
  • Listening to you and finding out what you would like to do.
  • Making a plan with you to keep you safe.
