Who's involved in an OT assessment

The following people are involved at this step:

  • an occupational therapist (OT) or OT assistant (OTA)
  • you

They will carry out your assessment. They'll talk to you about what you can manage to do at home now and what you need help with. This will help them to decide if you need:

  • advice
  • signposting or referring you to other services
  • providing you with equipment
  • installing minor and / or major adaptations
