Supported independent living is when you get somewhere to live and support.
Staff help you to be independent and make your own decisions.
Staff can help you to learn daily living skills.
Sometimes staff can help with personal care.
Supported independent living can be:
- in your own home that you own or rent
- in a shared house with other people
People who have independent supported living have a tenancy.
They can change their support provider without having to move house.
