Our social value priority areas 2021 to 2026

Delivering social value in Surrey means maximising our positive impact,

  • achieving more than we can with our own resources
  • achieving better, more long-lasting outcomes through working together

We want to focus our efforts on what is most important in Surrey right now, and this means working towards the four priority areas in our organisation's strategy for 2021-2026.

  • Growing a sustainable economy so everyone can benefit
  • Tackling health inequality
  • Enabling a greener future
  • Empowering communities

These priority areas are underpinned by the driving principle of no one left behind, and they have been developed to support our Health & Wellbeing Strategy and our shared Community Vision for Surrey 2030.

You can read more about each of these priorities here to understand why they are so important and what we hope to achieve in each area.

If you are bidding for a contract with the Council, we will ask you to propose activities and actions that support each of these four areas.

Information in the Health & Wellbeing Strategy also highlights some priority people groups and places in the county where we want to focus particular effort and investment of resources.
