The Family Information Service is a free impartial information and signposting service for families with children aged 0 to 19 (up to 25 years for those with additional needs). The role of the service is to help families get the most out of the information and services available in the community and online. We also support professionals in their work with children and families by providing centralised information and resources to help guide them to the services and information that they need.

- The FIS website covers a range of subjects including childcare, family finance, parenting support and education. There are also web pages which may be relevant for teenagers such as Internet Safety, Radicalisation and Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE).
- Surrey Local Offer website is specifically for families of children with Additional Needs and Disability (also known as SEND).
Use our Family Information Service Directory
The Directory contains a number of national and local services and is regularly maintained and updated. You can search by a key word and area to find the details of local support services.
