Veterans' Hubs project

What is a Veterans' Hub?

Veterans' Hubs are a relaxed place for veterans to drop in and share a cup of tea and the company of others who have served. They also provide a way to gain advice, support and services under one roof. This means a minimum of two services or charities available at least once a month.

About the Forces Connect Veterans Hubs Project.

The project was set up to help strengthen and extend the provision of these invaluable centres, thereby increasing the local support available for veterans across the south east. It was enabled by support from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund.

Where is my nearest hub?

Please use the map below to find details out about the locations of Veterans' Hubs, including details of when they are open and links to their websites. We advise you to confirm directly that the hub is running as expected before leaving home.

How can I find out more?

Although all existing funding for new hubs has now been allocated, there are still areas where a Veterans' Hub would be welcomed. Our Grow Your Own Hub Guide provides lots of information to those who may be interested in getting started.

If you would like further information or support we are always happy to talk things through. Please email fcse@surreycc.gov.uk

For information about drop-in centres nationwide please visit the Association of Ex-Service Drop-In Centres (ASDIC) website.
