Surrey Safer Communities Team

The Surrey Safer Communities Team consists of portfolio leads for:

  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Crime and disorder information sharing
  • Domestic abuse
  • Domestic abuse related death reviews
  • Hate crime and community cohesion
  • Prevent (counter terrorism)
  • Safer communities programme for schools
  • Serious violence
  • Violence against women and girls

Working alongside partner organisations including surrey police, district and borough councils, health partners, probation, housing providers, specialist service providers and charitable organisations, the team deliver Surrey-wide policy, strategy and guidance to ensure a co-ordinated response within their subject areas to improve safety across Surrey's communities.
