South Park Sports Association
Your Fund Surrey has granted £150,000 towards the construction of the 3G pitch. South Park Sports Association are installing a 3G pitch at Whitehall Lane to benefit the club and the whole community. There is a real lack of 3G pitches in the Reigate area. This will not only benefit South Park Adult and Junior sections but also local clubs Reigate Women, East Surrey Hawks, Reigate Youth amongst others. The site will also be used for the Reigate Refugee programme, Man versus Fat health league as well as Walking Football sessions. There will also be Just Play sessions for casual users, with the English Deaf League and the local YMCA also benefiting.
Oakwood School 3G Pitch
Oakwood School have been granted £150,000 to go towards their project. They will construct a full-size, floodlit, 3G pitch which can be used all year round. The installation will enable more teams in the local area to make use of the pitch, including youth football for both boys and girls. This will meet the needs of the area, which has been marked as a priority by the Football Foundation and will help meet the requirements of the Local Facility Football Plan.
Salfords Cricket Club
Salfords Cricket Club have been granted £431,000 to go towards their project. This project is for the demolition of the existing, dilapidated cricket pavilion and replacing it by building a brand new facility. The new pavilion will cater for all genders and disabilities by being completely accessible by wheelchair and having appropriate changing rooms. The pavilion will also house a community space which can be used by different local organisations – with aims of becoming a hub within the local area.
Reigate Rugby Club
Reigate Rugby Club have been granted £221,705 to go towards their project. The club has recently expanded its user base by welcoming local lacrosse and football teams to use their current facility. Funding has been granted in order to install proper drainage around all 5 of the club's multi-use pitches, to ensure that they remain playable all year round. They will also install a large set of solar panels to keep the club energy efficient and provide power to heat the new, segregated changing and shower facilities which have been required since they expanded their range of users.
