WR Sports Club
Your Fund Surrey has granted £275,000 towards the project. WR Sports Club is home to Ashford Bowls, Tennis and Table Tennis Clubs. The funding will increase the size of the communal lounge area in the clubhouse by approx.75%, which will enable it to be divided into two separate areas, also to relocate the disabled toilet for easier access, and the changing rooms and kitchen. The clubhouse extension will also enable larger groups to be accommodated, whilst providing a separate area for club members and community groups, and a more appropriate area for children.
Friends of Kenyngton Manor Park
Your Fund Surrey has granted £168,600 towards the project. Their aims are to promote all types of play, enabling children to develop physically, social-emotionally and cognitive-creatively in a safe environment. The park is also not accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs so they aim to make the park as inclusive as possible by adding in a path directly to the playground and more inclusive play equipment. Allowing all children to be able to play.
