Over the last few months, we have attended various job fairs around Surrey.
The Camberley and District Job Club is a volunteer run organisation offering support and advice for those who are looking to find work. We attended the Job Fair which was a live community event held in Camberley at High Cross Church, on Wednesday 18 May 2022.
We also attended the Jobcentre Plus work fair in Woking and at the Old Dean Bowling Club, in Camberley. We spoke to visitors about how Surrey Adult Learning (SAL) can help prepare and upskill themselves as they are looking for work. Our free refresh courses are designed for people who are recently unemployed, about to start their job search, want to refresh and hone their job searching skills, or want to move forward with their next step. You will learn how to stand out and be noticed in a competitive job market. These short courses and workshops will help to build your confidence and prepare you for interview success.
We work close with partners across the National Careers Service, Jobcentre Plus and local job clubs to ensure your needs are met and to help you impress your future employer. Whether you are looking for a new career or gain a qualification we have a wide range of Business, Employability and Digital Skills courses to suit your needs. It was fantastic bringing together employers, employment partners, government agencies, job seekers and members of the local community. We hope to see you at the next job fair.
