Five ways we are connecting with communities

Making it happen at community events this autumn

Our Community Engagement Team will be out and about in Surrey this autumn listening to what matters to residents in their local areas – to help Make Things Happen.

Here's how it works. We spark conversations, listen closely to your experiences and ideas, gather your feedback and share it with local service providers and planners to help enhance local communities just the way you envision it.

Ready to make an impact? Join us at our next event and let your voice be the force behind the change. Every voice counts; let's team up to Make it Happen.

Sounds too dull? Hopefully you'll have some fun whilst sharing your ideas and thoughts with us – from escape rooms, giant inflatables and even smoothie bikes. See below for details of where the team will be.

Come and join in at the following five events this September:

Surrey Community Lounges

We have created some virtual and in public spaces called Surrey Community Lounges where you can make connections with other like-minded people in your local area. Whether that's catching up with neighbours over a cuppa, sharing ideas, doing fun activities together or simply being in the company of others.

Find out more about Surrey Community Lounges free events and connect with others by joining the Surrey Community Lounge Facebook Group.
