Helping young people engage, learn and make a difference
Surrey Youth Voice are an amazing platform where young people can express their views, influence decision-making, and contribute to their community. We offer a variety of fun and empowering programs for young people aged 7 to 25, helping them to make a real impact on Surrey Services. If you work with or care for a child or young person who lives, studies, or works in Surrey, tell them about us.

Our opportunities for young people
Surrey Youth Cabinet (SYC)
Perfect for young leaders who want to advocate for their peers and represent youth interests at various levels. SYC members work together with the six elected Members of Youth Parliament and Surrey's Young Mayor to ensure that young people's voices are heard.
Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Support Group (CYA)
Passionate about mental health? If you're aged 10 – 25, come and join CYA. Together, we can positively influence Surrey's emotional wellbeing and mental health services!
Additional Needs and Disabilities Support Group (ATLAS)
ATLAS is a participation group for young people aged 10 – 25 who have additional needs and disabilities. ATLAS are currently designing a disability empowerment campaign. Join us to help create a more inclusive Surrey!
Recruit Crew
Ever wondered what it's like to be on the other side of an interview table? Young people can now have their say and get involved in the recruitment of staff across Surrey! We provide all the training, and young people will receive incentive vouchers to participate. It is also a great experience to put on CVs.
Care Experienced Groups
Do you want to make a difference for care-experienced children and young people in Surrey? Young people aged 7 to 25 can join Care Council and share their thoughts on how to make positive changes to the services they are using.
One of their most recent projects is the preferred terminology guide. This was designed and informed by care-experienced young people aged 13 to 25, who are telling us how we can strengthen our relationship with them using inclusive and young person friendly language.
How to get involved
If you are interested in joining one of our groups, please email user.voice@surreycc.gov.uk or fill in our expression of interest form. For more information, visit Surrey Youth Voice website or follow us on our Instagram.
