Investing in renewable energy generation cuts carbon emissions. Purchasing solar panels is a cost-effective way to produce clean energy and help cut down on your monthly gas and electricity bills. With a community led initiative, you can install solar panels for less than before.

Solar Together is a group buying scheme where you can come together with others in your community to invest in solar panels with optional battery storage and electric vehicle (EV) charge points. You can be confident you are paying the right price for a high-quality installation from pre-approved installers.

If you already have solar panels, you can also get involved in the scheme to purchase retrofit battery storage. This will help you get more get more from the renewable energy your panels are already generating. It can also help increase your independence from the grid.

It is free to register and there is no obligation to install. All installers are pre-approved and deliver high quality installations.

Since 2021, 2,250 Surrey residents benefited from the installation of solar panels and battery storage. Here's what they had to say:
