As we once again turn on the heating, we know that paying energy bills can become a worry. This coupled with the increasing cost of everyday living expenses, becomes a juggling act for many households. We want to ensure that everyone knows what benefits are available to them and where help, support and advice is available locally to ease the pressures on your finances, welfare, and mental health and wellbeing. Pension Credit and Winter Fuel Payment

If you're over 60 and finding it tricky to make ends meet, you might be able to claim Pension Credit to top up your income. It's one of the eligible benefits needed to receive this year's Winter Fuel Payment. Get advice tailored to your energy usage

Anyone can use the free online Energy Advice Tool for information on a range of topics including debt relief grants, fuel vouchers and ways to make your home more energy efficient.

Priority Services Register

Households on the Priority Services Register (PSR) receive extra help if their gas, electricity, or water supply is cut due to planned work or in emergency situations. It also helps you access additional services if you have vulnerability in the household.

If you're struggling to manage your finances, there are people who can help you make sense of them including the money manager tool.
