Surrey Connect has expanded
The popular on-demand bus service which is available in Mole Valley, Farnham, Cranleigh, Tandridge, Longcross and West Guildford has now expanded across more areas of Surrey.
The new areas include:
- Runnymede
- Some areas of Surrey Heath
- Wider Guildford borough
- Waverley
The shared bus service is available in areas of the county where there are fewer or no commercial bus services, to help residents to get around by public transport. Rather than being restricted by traditional bus timetables, the accessible minibuses are available for everyone when needed. Our online map shows the areas covered by Surrey Connect bus services.
To date, Surrey Connect has transported over 84,000 passengers around the county. We have now extended this service so more residents in the county can benefit from an accessible and sustainable mode of transport.
The service is open to people of all ages and could enable them to travel to access further education, training, shopping, after-school club activities and more.
Fares are charged based on how many miles are travelled starting from £2 for adults.
Journeys can be booked:
- Online
- Via the 'Surrey Connect' app - available from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (Apple)
Buses run Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 6pm.
Journeys can be booked with 30 minutes notice or up to 7 days in advance.
