Boundary changes

This election was the first General Election to take place with new constituency boundaries, following a boundary review of 2023.

These changes saw part of Hampshire (Bordon) grouped with Farnham, and parts of Egham and Virginia Water moved into a neighbouring constituency (Windsor), meaning Surrey's constituency borders are no longer coterminous with the county boundary.

County Council elections next year

County Council elections are separate from a General Election and take place every four years, with the next set to take place in 2025. To find out more about what a county councillor does, watch the video below.
