2023 Award Ceremony

In its second year, the entire event was fully funded through the support of our generous sponsors. The event took place at G Live, Guildford and was hosted by the award-winning Amazon Prime and Sky Sports presenter Marcus Buckland.

The night saw standing ovations, laughter, and some tears. Winners included County Council staff who look after young people in care, those who help elderly people live at home for longer, and others who keep Surrey's libraries thriving.

Leader of the Council, Tim Oliver, said:

A huge congratulations to all our Stars in Surrey winners! Their dedication and outstanding contributions across Surrey are inspirational. In communities large and small, their tireless efforts have made a lasting impact.

I'd like to say a heartfelt thankyou to 2023 headline sponsor Pick Everard and all our other sponsors who helped make the event possible. My thanks also go to everyone who nominated their Surrey heroes.
