This privacy notice applies to the functions of the third party contractors and farmers who carry out snow clearing of surrey highways during winter within Surrey County Council (SCC).

Your personal data is collated for the purposes of organising snow clearance in order to carry out our statutory responsibilities, providing services and establishing good business practices

We are allowed to hold your personal data because it is necessary for our contractual obligations
Who we share your personal data with
This data will be shared with SCC contract partners who help co-ordinate works during a snow event, deliver salt, and maintain snow ploughs.
We will also share this data with SCC Local Area Highway Team officers who help co-ordinate work during snow events

We do not use automated decision making.

We do not send or process data outside of the UK and EU.
Retention of data
Data will be retained for the duration of the contract.
Retention schedule following end of contract is being reviewed currently and will be updated in due course
