Surrey Arts are passionate about the impact that the arts have on children and young people's lives and believe that creative engagement has a place in every school. We can work together with your school, to give your young people the highest quality music and arts education. All of our services are flexible and can be tailored to fit best within your setting.

Information and services

Whole Class Ensemble Teaching

Whole Class Ensemble Teaching scheme is provided by Surrey Arts through the First Access programme, which provides support and resources for school music teachers and the Tuning Up programme, which provides schools with experiences music teachers.

Training and online resources for music teachers

Surrey Arts offer a wide range of training sessions and links to online resources, to help music teachers find ways to better educate their students.

Music lessons and workshops for schools

Surrey Arts can provide your primary or secondary school with individual or group music lessons on the full range of orchestral and band instruments. We can also deliver music production, percussion and vocal workshops in your school.

Choirs and singing opportunities for schools

Surrey Arts can help all school’s start a choir and help primary school children develop their enjoyment of singing by taking part in our Singing Picnics and Primary Music Festivals.

Partnership organisations helping schools to deliver music and the arts

Visual arts practitioners for schools

Surrey Hills Arts and Surrey Artist Open Studios can connect your school with local art practitioners who can visit your school and lead bespoke workshops on a variety of different artistic disciplines.
