Definitive Map Modification Order 2019
On 29 August 2024, Surrey County Council confirmed the above named Order. The Order as confirmed modifies the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding a footpath from Pyrford Common, 37m north of Pyrford Common Road (Grid ref 503591 158930) in a generally north easterly direction for 535m to Upshot Lane by The Arbor Centre (Grid ref 503931 159230).
A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Access Office, Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ (by appointment telephone 0300 2001003), at Woking Borough Council, Civic Offices, Gloucester Square, Woking GU21 6YL, and at West Byfleet Library, The Old Sorting Office, Rosemount Avenue, KT14 6LB during opening hours. The notice may also be viewed at www.surreycc.gov.uk. Copies of the Order and map may be bought from the County Council for £4.
The Definitive Map Modification Order came into force on 29 August 2024. If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 of the Act within six weeks of 6 September 2024 make an application to the High Court.
