Definitive Map Modification Order 2020
On 4 July 2024, an Inspector appointed the Secretary of State for Environment Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above-named Order.
The Order as confirmed modifies the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding a public footpath from point 'A', its junction with Atherfield Road [Grid Reference: 526155 148626] and running for 14 metres in a north-westerly direction to point 'B' [Grid Reference: 526151 148642]. Then from point 'B' continuing in a north-westerly direction for 13 metres to point 'C', being the southern edge of Earlswood Common [Grid Reference: 526146 148653] as shown on plan 3/1/37/H83. The total distance is 27 metres with a width varying between 'A' and 'B' of 5.5 to 2.5 metres and between 'B' and 'C' of 2.5 metres.

Copies of the Order and map may be bought from the County Council for £4.
The Definitive Map Modification Order came into force on 4 July 2024. If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 of the Act within six weeks of the 15 August 2024 make an application to the High Court.
