Public Footpath 12 (Haslemere)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 31 October 2024 Surrey County Council will make the above-mentioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along Public Footpath 12 (Haslemere) From point A (Grid reference: 499554 140325) to point B (Grid reference: 499708 140253) shown as a solid line on plan reference 3/1/20/H57.
The Order is necessary in the interest of public safety due to works being undertaken on or near the highway. The closure will be in operation for a period of five weeks from 4 November 2024 or until completion of the works, if earlier. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.
The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorized person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.
There is no alternative route.
"The Surrey County Council Public Footpath 12 (Haslemere) Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order 2024" will be made by the County Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
