Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 17 April 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along that length of Public Footpath 125 (Farnham) which extends from its junction with West Street at point A (Grid ref: 483807 146784) south for 73 metres to its junction with Public Footpath 125a (Farnham) at point B, as shown by a solid bold line on plan no. 3/1/18/H108.

The closure will be in operation for a period of 1 month from 21 April 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is earlier. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.
The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.
Suggested alternative route from point A: proceed north-east along West Street, then south-east along Downing Street, then south-west along Upper Church Lane and Public Footpath 125a (Farnham) until its junction with Public Footpath 125 (Farnham) at point B, as shown by a solid bold line on plan no. 3/1/18/H108.The total length of the suggested alternative route is about 325 metres.
The alternative route for traffic from point B will be the reverse of the route described above.
