European Interreg UrbanLinks 2 Landscapes and Digitourism projects

'UrbanLinks 2 Landscape' European Interreg project

Surrey County Council is a partner in this European project running from 2018 to 2022 to share good practice and influence policy to maximise the opportunities for greenspace around urban areas. There are seven partners involved including the UK, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Italy and Sweden. The project examines opportunities for conserving and maintaining our natural open spaces while adapting to new initiatives, including the benefits of greenspace for health and wellbeing. Good practice examples and knowledge transfer between partners will identify how such benefits can help maximise local economic, social and environmental opportunities.
