Banstead Woods Nature Trail

A gently undulating circular walk discovering the hidden secrets and natural wonders of Banstead Woods, 250 acres of ancient woodland. Banstead Woods' recorded history stretches back to the time of the Domesday Book in 1086. Look out for the Narnia Trail. Great for bluebells.

Farthing Downs and Happy Valley

An undulating circular walk near Coulsdon, taking in the beautiful rolling chalk grassland of Farthing Downs and Happy Valley. Great views to the London skyline.

Godstone Paths, Ponds and Churches

A fairly easy circular walk from the pretty village of Godstone, taking you on a simple loop through the surrounding fields and lanes via old mills and the adjacent village of Tandridge.

Dormans Park

An enjoyable 'rail to ramble' walk from Dormans Station. The walk crosses Lingfield Park racecourse and golf course, passes through the Dormans Park estate and past the Cook's Pond Viaduct.

Limpsfield Loop

A circular walk near the village of Limpsfield (close to the Kent border). The walk explores several sections of woodland common, including High Chart and Limpsfield Common, set along the slopes of the Greensand Ridge.

Over the Downs to Oxted Mill

An enjoyable 'rail to ramble' LINEAR walk through the North Downs from Woldingham station. The route goes through ancient woodland and chalk grassland, both rich in wild flowers. Good views towards the south coast over the Sussex Weald.

Corner of Four Counties

A tranquil walk through rural Surrey passing close to the neighbouring counties of Kent, East Sussex and West Sussex. The route passes a number of farms, past fields of sheep, cattle and horses and through woodland. Keep dogs on a lead.

An easy circular walk exploring Staffhurst Wood (near Limpsfield), a beautiful old woodland which is popular with families and dog walkers and which bursts into a glorious display of bluebells in the late spring. Expect mud after rainfall.
