Meet the Minerals and Waste Policy Team

Dustin Lees

Minerals and Waste Policy Team Leader (full-time)

Provides strategic, professional, and technical oversight of the Minerals and Waste Policy Team, and responsible for the development, performance, and wellbeing of relevant officers. Reports to the Planning Development Manager.

Ibrahim Mustafa

Principal Planning Policy Officer (full-time)

Leading professional officer responsible for the emerging Minerals and Waste Local Plan and supporting other functions of the Minerals and Waste Policy Team. Reports to the Minerals and Waste Policy Team Leader.

Benjamin Brett

Senior Planning Policy Officer (full-time)

Senior professional officer involved in all functions of the Minerals and Waste Policy Team including preparation of Surrey County Council's annual Local Aggregates Assessment and representing the Minerals and Waste Planning Authority at various technical forums including the South East England Aggregates Working Party. Reports to the Minerals and Waste Policy Team Leader.

Laura Treagus

Planning Policy Officer (full-time)

Professional officer involved in all functions of the Minerals and Waste Policy Team including preparation of Surrey County Council's Authority Monitoring Report and representing the Minerals and Waste Planning Authority at various technical forums including the South East Waste Planning Advisory Group. Reports to the Minerals and Waste Policy Team Leader.

Francis Ford

Planning Policy Officer (full-time)

Professional officer involved in all functions of the Minerals and Waste Policy Team including preparation of Surrey County Council's annual Local Aggregates Assessment and Authority Monitoring Report and representing the Minerals and Waste Planning Authority at various technical forums. Reports to the Minerals and Waste Policy Team Leader.

Amanda Scott

Planning Project Support Officer (full-time)

Responsible for providing project management and administrative support to the Minerals and Waste Policy Team. Reports to the Minerals and Waste Policy Team Leader.

Tamás Györfi

Planning Technical Support Officer (full-time)

Responsible for providing technical support to the Minerals and Waste Policy Team including Surrey County Council's Geographical Information System. Reports to the Minerals and Waste Policy Team Leader.
