Special events
NHS app help
Friday 25 April, from 10am to 4pm.
Not just for Covid! Heard how great the NHS App is, but still not sure where to start or how to use it? Then come along to our drop-in sessions to get help from one of our friendly advisors. We can help with:
- Setting up your NHS Account
- Downloading the NHS App on to your phone, or accessing it on your tablet or laptop
- Using it to order repeat prescriptions in seconds
- How to view your health record on the App
- How to view your test results
- Any other NHS App questions!
Please bring your phone/tablet/laptop or if you don't have any of these, public PCs will be available. If it is your first time using the app, you will need to bring ID with you to register for it. These are the accepted forms of ID for registration:
- Passport
- UK or European Driving License (Full or Provisional)
- European National Identity Card
- Biometric Residence Permit (BRP), UK Residence Card, or European Economic Area (EEA) Biometric Residence Card (BRC)

Pebble rhymetime
- Every Wednesday at 10.30am.
- Every Wednesday at 11am.
- Every Saturday at 10.30am.
Places are limited so booking is recommended. Places can be reserved from the Saturday before each event, by visiting the library.

Storytime
Storytime for Adults
Next date and time: Thursday 10 April, from 2pm to 3pm.
Cost: £1 includes refreshments.

Reading groups
Dittons book group
Last Friday of every month at 10.30am.
Our friendly book group meets in the library.
If you are interested in joining, please speak to a member of staff in the library or email dittons.library@surreycc.gov.uk

Other events
Able like Mabel
Thursdays, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
Join in in one of our regular, seat-based exercise classes. It is aimed at older people (65+) but everyone is welcome.
Run by one of our volunteers. Sessions are free. To sign up, please speak to a member of staff at Dittons Library.
Art club
Every Saturday from 10am to 12 noon.
Join us on Saturday mornings and be creative in the library.
Each week we will have a different activity. What will you make next? Look out for posters around the library.
Digital support volunteer
Tuesdays from 10am until 12 noon.
Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?
Booking is not required but to avoid disappointment booking is recommended. To book, please ask a member of staff in Dittons library or email: dittons.library@surreycc.gov.uk
