Ewell Library

Ewell Library temporary closure

Ewell Library will be closed from Monday 17 March until Tuesday 8 April to allow for refurbishment works at Bourne Hall to take place. This involves replacing the windows at the venue which are old and outdated with double-glazed windows, making the building fit for the future.

During the closure period, Bourne Hall, which houses the library, will remain open as usual.

Click and collect service

Throughout this closure period a click and collect service will be available from Ewell Library, so library members will still be able to return items and collect reservations for a small fee.

Return dates for all items on loans have been automatically extended to Tuesday 8 April. Therefore, no late fees or charges with be incurred on your account during this time.

There will be no public computers or study space available at Ewell library during this period. If you need to make use of these library services, your nearest alternative libraries are: Ashtead, Ewell Court, Leatherhead, Stoneleigh and Tattenhams.

Further updates regarding Ewell library will be shared on the Ewell library Facebook page.

Further updates regarding the improvement works will be shared on the Bourne Hall website.
