Leaving Fatherland is his first novel and provides a different take on what it was like to be in the Luftwaffe during WW2. With scenes inspired by real events, it follows book-loving protagonist Oskar from his childhood in Nazi Germany to New York City and beyond, as he struggles to come to terms with his father's abuse.

The session will end with some audience questions and a book signing.

Tickets are a suggested donation of £4 per person and can be booked online.
