Redhill Library will close for a week, from Monday 11 November to Saturday 16 November (inclusive) to relocate to our temporary space for the second time.
We will reopen in the Belfry Shopping Centre (Units 44-45, Belfry Centre, Station Road, Redhill, Surrey, RH1 1SE) at 9.30am on Monday 18 November. The library will remain here until it returns to Warwick Quadrant in summer 2025.
The library in the Belfry Shopping Centre will offer a wide range of adult book stock, a full children's library, study space and our regular events and activities.
The library will not be able to offer the following services until an unconfirmed date in December: self service kiosk access, public computers, public Wi-Fi, or printing/photocopying.
Temporary Library at Consort House
Redhill's temporary library service is now based at Consort House, Queensway, Redhill, RH1 1YB, a short 2 minute walk from the existing library. The Ground floor is available to the public for browsing and the Lower Ground floor stock is available by request, please speak to a member of staff for assistance.
The library offers:
- The full range of books including New Titles, Bestsellers and promotions
- Bus Passes and Blue Badge Applications
- Individual study spaces
- Comfortable seating and activities
- Dedicated children's library
- Events including regular Rhymetimes every Wednesday and Saturday at 10.30am, with an expansion to the events programme to be confirmed.
We have wifi, printing and photocopying available. We have eight public computers available for use. We recommend booking a computer to guarantee your slot.
Redhill library at Warwick Quadrant will remain closed to allow appropriate repairs for the building to be completed alongside our planned refurbishment, but please be assured that we are working hard to resolve the situation and will provide further updates in due course.

There are three pay and display car parks within easy walking distance.
The nearest Blue Badge bays are in Clarendon Road car park which is a very short walk from the library, using the public footpath which runs along the side of the main library building.

Volunteering
