As a result the Metrobus 430/435 service will be on diversion, and between 20:00 and 06:00 will be unable to serve South Park. These services will instead operate between Bell Street and Woodhatch Road via West Street, Chart Lane, Cronks Hill, Somerset Road, Copse Road, Blackthorn Road, Holly Road and Hornbeam Road. Bus stops in South Park, as well as those known as "Sandhills Road" on Bell Street and "Hornbeam Road" on Woodhatch Road will not be served.

Burr Hill Lane, Chobham

Due to emergency works to fix a void in the road, Burr Hill Lane in Chobham is closed from Friday 21 June with an anticipated finish date of 2 July. The duration could change as work progresses.

White Bus service 73 and Safeguard service 39A will be on diversion via Windsor Lane and will not be able to serve stops on Bur Hill Lane, Delta Road and Bowling Green Road. There is a temporary bus stop in place on Chertsey Road opposite the Fish and Chips shop whilst the works are in place.

Mill Lane, Horley

Due to culvert repair works by Surrey Highways, Mill Lane, Horley will be closed from Tuesday 11 June for approximately 1 month. This closure will remain in place 24/7 until works are completed. As a result, the Metrobus 22 and 324 services will be on diversion.

The Metrobus 22 service will be on diversion via Brighton Road, Longbridge Roundabout and Reigate Road and will not serving Vicarage Lane, Lee Street and Mill Lane for the duration of the works.

The Metrobus 324 service will be on diversion via Vicarage Lane and will not be serving Mill Lane, Brighton Road and the Hookwood area for the duration of the works.

Station Avenue, Caterham

Due to drainage and carriageway resurfacing works by Surrey County Council, Station Avenue, Caterham (between the junctions of Croydon Road and Harestone Valley Road) will be closed eastbound-only from Monday 10 until Friday 28 June. The closure will only be in place between 20:00 - 06:00 weekday nights only (no weekend working).

As a result the Metrobus 400 services after 20:00 departing from Caterham towards Gatwick Airport will be affected, and bus stops on High Street, Church Road, Church Hill and Station Avenue in Caterham will not be served between 20:00 and 06:00. The 400 service will divert instead via Townend, Burnwood Lane and Croydon Road from Caterham-on-the-hill toward Caterham.

Transport for London services 407 and 434 will also be affected, and will not be able to serve Caterham between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00. These services will instead terminate at the Wapses Lodge roundabout in Whyteleafe, and bus stops on Croydon Road, Caterham will not be served.

National Highways works on A3 near RHS Gardens Wisley (Bus services 462/463 and 715)

Due to the demolition of Wisley and Cockcrow footbridges which cross the A3, the bus stops on the A3 at Wisley will be permanently closed and the bus stop on the Portsmouth Road at Ockham Roundabout will be temporarily closed from the last bus on Friday 23 February 2024.

Until the new Wisley bridge is in place there will be no safe walking route to RHS Wisley or across the A3 from the A3 or Portsmouth Road bus stops.

To facilitate transport to RHS Gardens Wisley, Wisley Common and Ockham Bites the National Highways are providing a free shuttle service from Ripley High Street. Passengers for Wisley should alight buses 462/463 or 715 in Ripley High Street and a free shuttle service will be taking passengers to RHS Gardens Wisley, Wisley Common and Ockham Bites. This will be operated by Woking Community Transport and depart from The Talbot in Ripley High Street. This service is provided by National Highways who can be contacted by telephone on 07870 0705198.

A3 Painshill, northbound (towards Esher) slip road closure

As National Highways works are continuing works on A245 Byfleet Road they have made arrangements for the A3 northbound off slip road at Painshill to be closed for a period of up to 10 weeks, initially to secure an improved eastbound traffic flow along the A245. The closure will come into effect from 17th May.

While this closure is in place Falcon service 715 will operate from Ockham Roundabout via Ockham Lane into Cobham. The bus stop at Cobham Fire Station (for journeys towards Cobham) cannot be served while the A3 slip road closure is in place.

A3 Portsmouth road closures

National Highways are carrying out major safety improvement works to the A3 Wisley Interchange (M25 Junction 10). As a result there will be a series of weekend road closures at this location.

This page will be updated as and when new closures are announced.

When closures are in place, the Falcon 715 service will only operate between Kingston and Cobham. The White Bus 462/463 service will not operate between Send Marsh Road and Ockham Roundabout, so bus stops in Ripley will not be served.

We would advise passengers wishing to travel on these services to also check the Falcon and White Bus websites for further updates.

More information about these works, including diversion maps, can be found on the National Highways webpage.

Due to road closures in Bordon on Lindford Road and on Caker Lane/Green Street in East Worldham, Stagecoach have been diverting services 23/123/113.

From 1 April 2024, Lindford Road has reopened, and service 23 has returned to normal.

From 5 May 2024, to coincide with the reopening of the B3004 between Bordon and Alton for college exam season, services 113 and 123 will revert to their pre-roadworks route and timetable and they will once again serve Kingsley and East Worldham, no longer diverting via Greatham and Selborne.
