For further information on other buses affected in Kingston, please contact Transport for London.
Peaslake Road, Peaslake
Peaslake Road, Peaslake will be closed from 17 February for approximately 5 days due to water works.
The Compass service 25 will be on diversion via Albury, Chilworth, Shalford and Rowly between Silent Pool and Cranleigh.
That means, Shere, Gomshall, Peaslake and Ewhurst will not be served by the Compass service 25 whilst the closure is in place.
Dawney Hill Road and Bisley Camp Road, Pirbright
From Monday 17 February Dawney Hill Road and Bisley Camp Road will be closed at the railway bridge for 6 days due to works taking place to improve the pedestrian crossing and drainage.
Falcon Bus 28 and Stagecoach service 91 will divert via Cemetery Pale, Avenue De Cagny heading to and from Woking and will resume the line of route at the junction of Bagshot Road and Connaught Road.
This will mean the bus stops at Crossroad, Brookwood School, Brookwood Railway Station, Church Close, Railway Arch, Caterham Close, Brookwood Memorial and School Lane will not be served during the closure.
Hook Road, Epsom
On Wednesday 12 February, Hook Road in Epsom has been closed due to emergency works on a gas escape. The closure is expected to last 7 days.
The Falcon service E5 is currently on diversion via Temple Road and Lower Court Road.
That means the 2 pairs of Surrey Bus stops called "Tomplin Close" and "Longmead Road" as well as the 3 Transport for London bus stops towards Watersedge called "Pound Lane", "Miles Road" and "Chase Road" will not be served.
Speer Road, Thames Ditton
Due to emergency water works by Thames Water, Speer Road will be closed from Monday 10 February for up to two weeks.
Falcon services 514/515 will divert via Station Road, Watts Road and Giggs Hill Road in both directions. Bus stops at Speer Road, Queens Road, Riversdale Road, Thames Ditton High Street and St Leonards Road will not be served while the road is closed.
Reptons service 513 will carry out the normal route as far as Thames Ditton Station, and then will use Station Road, High Street and St Leonards Road where it will return to the normal route. The bus will do the same in the reverse direction.
Ash Church Road, Ash
There have been significant development works around Ash Railway Station and a new bridge has been built over the railway line which will help any traffic delays caused by the level crossing.
From Saturday 8th February, the new bridge that leads from Stonehill Road over the railway line will be opened and the Stagecoach service 20 will divert permanently down Stonehill Road and over the bridge to Foreman Road. The bus stops at Chester Road will no longer be served from this date.
There are further works taking place on the junction of Ash Church Road and Foreman Road from 8th February and while the works are in progress the Stagecoach 20 will divert via Foreman Road and Grange Road. Bus stops at Ash Railway Station and St Peters Church will not be served. The works are expected to last 8 weeks.
Elmbridge Road, Cranleigh
Elmbridge Road in Cranleigh will be closed from 12 February for approximately 2 weeks due to carriageway repair works.
The Compass 24 service will divert via Guildford Road and Run Common Road. Due to further closure on the diversion route at Knowle Lane the Compass 42 will curtail at Alfold between the hours of 0930 and 1530 until Knowle Road reopens on 19 February.
Victoria Way, Woking
From Sunday 26 January, due to an unsafe building affected by the high winds, Victoria Way in Woking is closed until further notice. Buses will divert via Goldsworth Road, Church Street West and Forge End. All stops will be served but there may be some delays because of the increased traffic in the area.
Kent Hatch Road, Limpsfield
Due to major new connection works by SES Water, Kent Hatch Road, Limpsfield (between the junctions with New Road and Ridlands Lane) will be closed from Monday 20 January for up to 8 weeks. During this time the Metrobus 594 service will be on diversion, and will be unable to serve the following stops on Kent Hatch Road: New Road, Ridlands Lane, Caxton Lane. All other stops in the area will still be served as normal, with buses using Moorhouse Road and the A25 Westerham Road between Limpsfield and Limpsfield Chart in both directions.
Little Bookham Street, Bookham
Due to gas main repair and replacement works by Southern Gas Networks (SGN), Little Bookham Street, Bookham will be closed from Monday 20 January for up to 6 weeks between the junctions with Oakdene Road and Childs Hall Road. As a result the Falcon 479 service will be on diversion, and bus stops on Little Bookham Street will not be served. All other bus stops in the area will still be served as normal, including those at Bookham Railway Station and on Church Road, and a temporary bus stop will be available on Lower Road for eastbound services (located near to the existing "Preston Cross" bus stop at the roundabout junction with Little Bookham Street and Rectory Lane).
Brighton Road, Lower Kingswood
From Monday 6 January between the hours of 20:00 to 06:00 (not weekends) there is a southbound closure of the Brighton Road in Lower Kingswood due to carriageway works. The works are expected to last until 15 February.

- Chipstead Lane,
- The Fox,
- Babylon Lane,
- Gatton Bottom,

- Brokes Road,
- Priory Gate Mews
- Reigate Station
Burrows Lane, Gomshall
Due to electrical works at the level crossing by Network Rail and UK Power Networks, Burrows Lane, Gomshall will be closed from 31 January until 17 February. As a result the Compass 25 service will be on diversion until the road is re-opened, operating between Newlands Corner and Burrows Cross via Little London, and missing out all stops in Shere and Gomshall.
Schooltime journeys only will still serve stops in Shere and on the A25 Station Road, Gomshall as normal (not those on Goose Green, High View or Burrows Lane) but will be delayed due to the additional time required for the diversion.
Portsmouth Road, Burntcommon
From Saturday 5 October contractors will be carrying out roadway improvements, including the installation of a new roundabout on Portsmouth Road. These works are expected to last until mid-February.
The bus stops on Portsmouth Road, known as "Burnt Common Lane" will be suspended for the duration of the works. There is no safe location for a temporary stop.
National Highways works on A3 near RHS Gardens Wisley (Bus services 462/463 and 715)
Due to the demolition of Wisley and Cockcrow footbridges which cross the A3, the bus stops on the A3 at Wisley will be permanently closed and the bus stop on the Portsmouth Road at Ockham Roundabout will be temporarily closed from the last bus on Friday 23 February 2024.
Until the new Wisley bridge is in place there will be no safe walking route to RHS Wisley or across the A3 from the A3 or Portsmouth Road bus stops.
To facilitate transport to RHS Gardens Wisley visitors can use the Wisley Gardens shuttle bus, operated by Stagecoach and Woking Bustler which can be picked up from Ripley Post Office, where you can connect with local bus services 462/463 and 715.
A3 Portsmouth road closures
National Highways are carrying out major safety improvement works to the A3 Wisley Interchange (M25 Junction 10). As a result there will be a series of weekend road closures at this location.
This page will be updated as and when new closures are announced.
When closures are in place, the Falcon 715 service will only operate between Kingston and Cobham. The White Bus 462/463 service will not operate between Send Marsh Road and Ockham Roundabout, so bus stops in Ripley will not be served.
We would advise passengers wishing to travel on these services to also check the Falcon and White Bus websites for further updates.
More information about these works, including diversion maps, can be found on the National Highways webpage.
