Expiration and renewal
A Blue Badge is normally valid for 3 years. It is clearly printed with 'valid from' and expiry dates.
When the badge is due to expire, it must be renewed.
It is the same process as applying – a requirement of the Department for Transport.
You should renew at least 12 weeks before the expiry date.
If you can't do this online, you can renew by post.
