Banners on the highway | This fee is to cover the application to place a banner on the highway. It is only available to charities or events on the interest of the public area. | £24 |
Reclaiming illegally placed banners | Where illegal banners are displayed on the highway without consent, Surrey County Council will remove the item and this fee will need to be paid to reclaim the item. | £79 |
Planting on the highway (cultivation license) | The licence covers the planting and maintenance of a highways verge | £88 |

Traffic survey data
Charges are dependant on the number of survey sites for which data is required, and the number of reports for each site is as follows.

Traffic signals
The following fees are for the costs of adjusting permanent traffic signals or signalised crossings. Full details can be found on the Temporary traffic signals licence page.
Costs are per visit and apply to either a "switch off" or "switch on" activity.

Street works on the highway
Street works consist of works that are undertaken by 3rd party contractors and utilities who have apparatus within the Surrey highway network. Fees and charges of these can be found on the street works permit scheme page.

Surrey County Council in its capacity as Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA), is a statutory consultee on surface water management drainage issues for all new major developments.
