How do you apply to be a registered skip company?
To apply to be registered skip company, please complete our online application form:
Once we have received your completed application form and documentation (see details below for required documents), we will process your application within 48 hours.
Once your company is registered, you will be given a username and password so that you can apply online for skip licences.
What documentation do you need to be a registered skip company?
Please supply the following documentation as part of your company's application:
- Public Liability Insurance certificate for a minimum of £10 million
- Waste Carrier's Licence certificate issued by the Environment Agency
- Goods Vehicle Operator's Licence issued by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)
What are the conditions for being a registered skip company?

How much does it cost to be a registered skip company?
There is a fee of £100 to cover administration costs for registering your company.
Payment can be made by credit or debit card via the online form.
What if you wish to change my skip operators licence?
To make any changes to your skip operators licence, such as changing the name of your company, please use the following online form:

Alternatively, please contact us directly to make any changes.
There is no fee to change the licence.
