Belgrave Road (D6235) and Gaston Way Spelthorne
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;
(a) Belgrave Road (D6235) Sunbury On Thames as extends from its junction with (D6235) Belgrave Crescent to its junction with (D6236) Batavia Road.
Alternative Route: Belgrave Road, Kempton Avenue, (A308) Staines Road East, and Batavia Road, or this route in reverse.
(b) Gaston Way (D6268) Shepperton as extends from its junction with (D6268) Catlin Crescent to its junction with (D3366) Service Road Fronting No.77 to No.99 Gaston Bridge Road.
Alternative Route: Govett Avenue, (B3366) Green Lane, (A244) Gaston Bridge Road, and Service Road Fronting No.77 to No.99 Gaston Bridge Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate sewer cover replacement works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm for part (a) and 10am and 3pm for part (b), during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 23 April 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
