Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 14 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the south westbound carriageway of Frimley By-pass (A325) Frimley as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (B3411) High Street, and (A325) Portsmouth Road and for a distance of 40 metres in a south westerly direction.

Alternative Route: (B3411) Frimley Road, (A30) London Road, (A331) Blackwater Valley Road, and (A325) Frimley By-pass.

This Order is required to facilitate telecom utility works for, or on behalf of Commhoist. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 8pm and 4.30am during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 31 May 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the alternative route described above. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be via the crossing points at the roundabout. No sole access is affected by this closure.
