Grange Road (D111) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024
On 24 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;
(a) Grange Road (D111) Farnham as extends from its junction with (C28) Tilford Road to its junction with (D111) Eglington Road;
and (b) Suspend "The Surrey County Council Grange Road (D111) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023" insofar as it affects that length of road specified in part (a) of this Notice.
Alternative Route: Tilford Road, Jumps Road, (A287) Farnham Road, (A287) Frensham Road, Priory Lane, and Grange Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate replacement telegraph pole water connection works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 09 May 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
