Heathcote Road (D3528) and High Street (D3512) Camberley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 21 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;

(a) Heathcote Road (D3528) Camberley that is crossed by the level crossing known as "Camberley Level Crossing" and for a distance of 20 metres; and

(b) in that length of High Street (D3512) Camberley that is crossed by the level crossing known as "Camberley Level Crossing" and for a distance of 20 metres.

Alternative Route: Portesbery Road, Knoll Road, (A30) London Road, (B3411) Frimley Road, Park Road, and Heathcote Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate sleeper replacement maintenance works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night between the hours of 11.30pm and 6am within the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 08 June 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of roads, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclist will be via the footbridge or via the Marshall on site. No sole access is affected by this closure.
