High Street (B2200) Ewell
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 20 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of High Street (B2200) Ewell as extends from its junction with (B2200) Spring Street to its junction with (D2441) West Street and (D2082) Church Street.

Alternative Route: (B2200) High Street, (B2200) London Road, (A24) Ewell By-pass, and (B2200) Cheam Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate sewer cleaning works for, or on behalf of Lanes Group PLC. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night between the hours of 10pm and 5.30am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 April 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
