Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 10 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Leigh Hill Road (D6880) Cobham as extends from its junction with (X16051) Icklingham Road to its junction with (D6880) Grenville Close.

Alternative Route: Leigh Hill Road, (A245) Stoke Road, (A245) Mill Road, (A245) River Hill, (A245) High Street, (A245) Between Streets, (A307) Portsmouth Road, Fairmile Lane, and Leigh Hill Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate sewer cover replacement works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 10am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 April 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
