Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 24 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Linden Gardens (D2545) Leatherhead as extends from its junction with (D2545) St Johns Close to its junction with (X8064) Limes Close.
This Order is required to facilitate sewer cover replacement works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 10am and 3pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 April 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
