Temporary Prohibition of Right and Left Turn Order 2024

On 20 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:

(a) prohibit vehicles that are travelling westbound on (A245) Parvis Road West Byfleet from turning right into (C130) Camphill Road; and

(b) prohibit vehicles that are travelling eastbound on Old Woking Road (A245) West Byfleet from turning left into (C130) Camphill Road.

Alternative Route: (1) (A245) Old Woking Road, Station Approach, Maderia Road, and Camphill Road;

(2) (A245) Parvis Road, (A245) Old Woking Road, Station Approach Road, Maderia Road, and Camphill Road.

This Temporary Traffic Order is required to water utility works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Chevron TM. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 11 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm within the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 2 April 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary prohibitions, which are anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. The above restriction shall not apply to vehicles being used in relation to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or in accordance with any restrictions or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the Police.
