Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 21 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Pennypot Lane (D26) Chobham as extends from its junction with (A319) Bagshot Road to its junction with the access to the property known as "Pennypot House".

Alternative Route: (A319) Bagshot Road, (A3046) High Street, Castle Grove Road, Scotts Grove Road, and Pennypot Lane, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate removal of telegraph pole works for, or on behalf of I and A Communications. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 June 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
