Various Roads in Tandridge
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024
On 20 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
This Order is required to facilitate developmental works for, or on behalf of McNicholas Construction Services Ltd. These works will be carried out over 3 phases.
Phase 1: will be carried out over 5 days;
Phase 2: will be carried out over 18 days; and
Phase 3: will be carried out over 6 days, all between the hours of 7am and 7pm within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 08 April 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates, if necessary, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Schedule
(1) that length of Tandridge Lane (C83) Tandridge as extends from its junction with (D419) Crowhurst Lane End to its junction with (C86) Mile Lane.
Alternative Route: Miles Lane, (A22) Eastbourne Road, (B2029) The Common, and Tandridge Lane, or this route in reverse.
(2) the entire length of Caterfield Lane (D408) Oxted.
Alternative Route: Pikes Lane, Crowhurst Lane, Haxted Road, and Dwelly Lane, or this route in reverse.
(3) that length of Tilburstow Hill Road (D395) South Godstone as extends from its junction with (X34168) Terracotta Road to its junction with the access to the property known as "Rosedene".
Alternative Route: Tilburstow Hill Road, (A22) Eastbourne Road, and (B2236) Eastbourne Road, or this route in reverse.
