Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024
On 22 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
This Order is required to facilitate replacement of telegraph pole works for, or on behalf of I and A Communications. These works will be carried out over 1 day, all between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 03 June 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Schedule
(1) the entire length of Ivy Mill Lane (D397) Godstone.
Alternative Route: Waterhouse Lane, (A25) Godstone Road, (A25) Bletchingley Road, or this route in reverse.
(2) the entire length of South Park Lane (D393) Bletchingley.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
(3) the entire length of The Enterdent (D394) Godstone.
Alternative Route: Tilburstow Hill Road and (B2236) Eastbourne Road, or this route in reverse.
