Walton Lane (D3875) Weybridge
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 20 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Walton Lane (D3875) Weybridge as extends from its junction with (D3875) Gipsey Lane to a point in line with the eastern boundary of the property known as "Desborough Lodge".
Alternative Route: Walton Lane, (A244) Walton Bridge, (A244) Bridge Street, (A3050) Oatlands Drive, (A317) Monument Hill, Monument Green, and Thames Street, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate mains water repair works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 14 days, between the hours of 8am and 4pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 02 April 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
