Course intent

Get ready for Christmas and learn to make a range of savoury & sweet, tasty festive treats, to enjoy with the family at home or for entertaining with friends.

This workshop intends to provide you with the skills and knowledge to create Christmas bakes and treats. The tutor will be using recipes that are as healthy as possible, full of flavour and realistic for you to reproduce on your own long after the workshop.

What will I learn?

During the workshop you will produce: · Brie and Cranberry Quiche · Caramelised Red Onion · Stilton & Chestnut Roast · Frangipane Cranberry Mince Pies

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

This course is designed for a range of cookery abilities, but not absolute beginners.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

Please ensure you have completed the following before the first session: · Returned a completed food allergies form. The link will be emailed to you. · Informed us if you would like alternatives for any dishes. · You will be emailed a workbook listing all you need to know for the workshop. Please read the workbook. This will outline some ingredients you need to bring with you and what is supplied.

What can I do when I finish the course?

We offer a range of culinary workshops and courses throughout the term, look at our website for all the details. It would be great to see you again.

We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. When you enrol, please let us know if you would like to discuss your extra support needs with a member of the Supported Learning Team who will then contact you as soon as possible. If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
