Watercolour Workshop - Autumn Landscape - Improvers

Course intent

Learn about drawing, composition and colour mixing with tutor demonstrations of how to paint a vibrant autumn landscape.

· How to draw out your composition · Plan your colour mixes & build up your painting in layers · Decide which watercolour techniques to use · The importance of a clean and tidy studio

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

This workshop is not for complete beginners. You will need to have some previous experience of using watercolours and be able to bring your own watercolour paints and paper.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

You need to bring:

Please bring the watercolour painting materials and equipment you are already using and watercolour paper. If you are not sure what to bring, please contact adultlearning@surreycc.gov.uk and ask them to forward your enquiry to tutor Helen Kelly who will be happy to advise.

What can I do when I finish the course?

To progress onto other longer SAL courses and specific one-day workshops.
